Le problème, c’est la stratégie du “storing now, decrypting later”, autrement dit récupérer les fichiers cryptés dès maintenant et attendre les outils de déchiffrement quantiques dont on sait déjà qu’ils seront capable de casser les techniques de chiffage actuelles en quelques minutes. Or les infos que certains de ces fichiers contiennent auront encore beaucoup de valeur dans 30 ans (genre les données de la sécu, ou des impôts). Il faut donc dès maintenant passer à des techniques de chiffrage dont on pense qu’elles resisteront. Elles existent d’ailleurs déjà, mais ne sont pas encore implémentées.
