  • I started off with a couple of internships during uni, just to get hands-on experience and start building my portfolio. After graduating, I focused on finding a firm that aligned with my interest in sustainable design and urban planning. It took some time, but eventually, a small firm in East London took me on as a junior. I started with the basics, but over time, I took on more responsibility, and that’s where I am now.

  • I’d love to hear what a typical day is like for you in Saudi Arabia. I know from my time in London that life can get pretty hectic with all the work, travel, and social activities. Do you find that Saudi Arabia has a similar fast-paced rhythm, or is there more of a balance between modern life and traditional customs? Here, everyone’s always rushing to meetings or events, but I imagine your daily routine might have some interesting contrasts with that. What do you love most about your culture and lifestyle?

I’ve heard the greatest feeling in the world is holding your baby for the first time, but I can’t speak to that yet. For me, though, it’s the feeling of being in love with your best friend. It’s a deep, effortless connection where it feels like they’re a part of you. When they’re not around, it’s this constant longing, this ache of missing them, and the thoughts of them that never really stop. It’s wanting to see them happy, to be the one who brings them joy, and realizing how much they mean to you in every little moment. It’s the kind of love that makes everything else feel brighter, like life just wouldn’t be the same without them in it.
