(He/Him) Tech enthusiast and leftist. Privacy and freedom are important to me. Piracy is a service issue. DRM-free media is just a better experience.
Thanks for working through these issues and improving performance of the website! Very appreciated. I’ve been tempted recently to create my own Lemmy instance, was this a problem with an nginx configuration option? How much does Beehaw deviate from a standard Lemmy deployment?
Feel free to answer vaguely if you don’t feel comfortable with giving away the details : )
I’m personally very skeptical of all these rarbg clones.
I wish I could. It is impossible to live car free in my state though. I’d have to move somewhere that would better support it like Philly or Chicago.
Is there really nothing to do in downtown Denver? I find that hard to believe but I haven’t been there myself before. I feel like it would be fun to just have all these people and bikes on the regular streets for a few hours once a month. Almost surreal to not be surrounded by cars in the middle of the city like that.
I got an ebike recently to try and enjoy riding and not be stuck in a car as much. To be honest with you guys riding around with cars on the road in my US town is terrifying even still.
Eagerly awaiting when we get more interconnected bike paths that have less interactions with cars.
I used to run OSMC and had Kodi and everything on there but honestly it was more trouble than it was worth. Kodi and it’s piracy addons are pretty buggy in most cases and fail to work reliably for very long. Since then I’ve switched back to using Plex but soon I may have to switch again to Jellyfin.
I have Rust experience and will consider helping out. I’ve been wanting to help out Lemmy recently anyway.
