Moonbound by Robin Sloan, My favorite book of 2025, maybe my favorite SciFi of all time

Its so weird to see this. I read Moon bound last year and loved it. I can’t believe he’s pro ai though.
Ugh early AI

1000+ forks?? Looks slick but a little too much AI development going on here for me to want to use. I currently use Renshuu and while its a little clunky I think it does everything this does and more, albiet in a less streamlined way.
Wow, this seems exceptionally relevant nowadays

Not for me but I’m delighted to know there are people into that. Maybe try the country ball community?
I love my 2001! We’re at 348k and still kicking. Engine misfires are starting to get worse so we’ll see how many more miles she has
I was just about to post this. Just one cookbook is the absolute goat of Japanese recipes!
What’s a Soldier in this context?

Cute!

NGL I thought this was the seamoth from subnautica. Cool micro build!

Probably thinking of Big Hero 6?
I wonder if we could identify emails based on the width of the censorship block, or at least group them.
Thanks, the kidney infection confused me

Civ 6, the whole Picross lineup on the switch (emulated ofc), Cassette Beasts, Minecraft Java (which can be a pain to setup but once its good its good), Halo MCC apparently has a new split screen mod. You get a lot with a switch emulator due to all the fantastic first party games by Nintendo. Also look into Nucleus Coop.
Tl;Dr: try Cassette Beasts

Yea I guess in general we need to pick our battles better. There’s nothing wrong with people pointing out problematic companies but if that’s the only kind of engagement you’re getting for tech news that’s not really helpful. In general I think this would be a lot less echo chambery if the barrier for sign up was lower. We need more diversity of users.
Anyways, I was expecting a very different kind of response from you and was pleasantly surprised by how civil it was. Sorry for calling you a dick.
Bit of a stretch, but this kind of reminds me of the Characters wallpapers from 7: https://windowswallpaper.miraheze.org/wiki/Windows_7
