4·22 days agoIt costs more to finance than to buy outright. The bank wants to make money in interest, so it’d be more than the cost of saving for the car. The longest loan I’ve seen is 72 months (6 years) and that’s still not going to help OP get a new car.

4·2 months agoUnfortunately they don’t have traditional salespeople. They don’t make commission and probably wouldn’t mind talking to someone.
In those cases I just do a charge back on my credit card.
8·2 months agoIt works as well as it does on Windows. I got to try them out in person during the event. They had windows and Arch installs on the 12. There’s a slight lag, very similar to how it feels on Chromebooks.
You can order those directly from chip suppliers (mouser, digikey, arrow, etc.) for a lower cost than you could get them from framework. Also those are going to be very difficult to solder/desolder. You’re going to need a hot air station, and you need to pre-warm the board to manage the heat sink from the ground planes.
What’s the context here?
You have to ask for proof of ownership from the debt collectors. Sometimes all they have is your info in a spreadsheet, which is not enough to legally collect. Do some online searches and you should be able to finda lot of resources.

Not me, but a friend of mine pronounces rhinoceros as if it rhymes with dinosaur-us.

12·4 months agoGaming is catching up. Valve has done a tremendous job getting games supported with Proton on SteamOS
My best experience was in SF on a day it was raining VERY heavily. Waymo blew me away compared to Tesla"a FSD, which would just tell you to take over in rain.
