I don’t read a lot of romance, but there is a very early sex scene in the Outlander series that makes you go… “and she stayed???”

Obviously, the relationship grows and gets way more loving and way better as the series goes on, but I cannot believe how Claire handled the situation. (Yes, I know she literally had no choices, but I still felt like the author had gone too far.)

I read that book as an adult, and when I got to that point, I said "this is a kid’s book?
