I had this album in my Sony Walkman for 6 months straight the summer of '92. The other side of the cassette was Roxy and Elsewhere (Zappa). Was a good time to be 21.

In Canada, the median annual salary for a General Practitioner (GP) is $227,218 (CAD).
So not exactly at par but probably likely still attractive. When you factor in the political climate, I can see how some may choose to move here.
But can we not negotiate a mutually beneficial agreement with both? The EU and BRICS?
