I don’t like Oracle (I liked Sun Solaris and the sparc cpu which they ruined) but that’s a good move and they definitely get point on my book for this.
You’re not dumb. Rust is a hard language to pick. Some people probably think I’m mocking it because I made this meme but I’m really not - I love Rust. I’m mocking us mere humans trying to cope with greatness 🤣And I’m looking forward to the time when I finally “graduate” and become more productive and experienced with Rust.
Old bands such as Joy Division are amazing and most new music doesn’t even get close to that.

I bought the bundle looking for some wasm, async and web Rust resources. I’m not impressed. The books quality is low and most of it is a waste of time I would have used more effectively with just documentation. It’s also true that there are some C++ and C# books in there which baffles me. I’ve actually started reading one of the wasm books only to realize it’s a C++ one few minutes later 🤣
Once again I see that I should stay away from Packt.
I think I’ll go grab Rust for Rustaceans now instead of all those in the bundle.
I think this model can reach Null Island from anywhere, doesn’t have to be Europe. Can’t wait to see what else it’s capable of. But kind of hoping it won’t murder me in my sleep.
6·7 个月前I think that the idea here is to get user attention towards more “linked” videos rather than things they normally look for. Cheap trick.
I’m still in the “x doesn’t delete things here” space… So many years of vi/vim usage, so hard to change that muscle memory…
3·8 个月前I would put a simple “grep <whafever> mail.log || curl ntfy.sh” or something like that. Ntfy can send you alert on the phone if some check failed or passed. For pass just use && :) Simple and it works.
This happens to me too sometimes. It usually fixes itself up when I clean the cache and remove all downloaded songs so it can update them.
Yeah better fit but a bit of trouble to setup… What’s your opinion on Icinga? Never used it myself.
There will always be people in both cases thinking they are entitled to the work of others. There will be nice people who do nice by others too, rarely but that happens. We live in a wonderful world and not being an a…hole about things makes it better.
Give https://github.com/louislam/uptime-kuma a try. I’m planning to do the same for similar use case. Sensu (sensu.io) is a more sophisticated option but it requires more infrastructure and there is a bit of a learning curve with it.
Dockge looks nice, thanks for mentioning. I need something like it. Too many docker composes to manage and I don’t want to go to the k8s complexity for hobby/personal use :)
Almost ready for it’s prime time I think. We just need a bit more on the UI/mobile app friendliness to make it shine for all.
