    I don’t understand what one would do with a RISC-V microcontroller soldered to an ARM Single Board (micro-)Computer—it’s already got a processor.

    Is it literally designed for doing development on the RISC-V subsystem, to later be deployed on their RISC-V-only pico devices? What advantages does this provide to the development process?

      Yeah I’m equally confused what this is useful for. Seems like it would rely on custom tooling depending on how the cores talk to each other.

        Maybe it’s slightly more convenient for remote development, where you leave this device in the field where they’re ultimately supposed to get deployed?
