Users in Ohio will have to verify their age to use Bluesky's social network as of Monday.

I’ve heard but can’t yet verify that x and reddit are exempt. Still bluesky is still doing this. Enough to make me seriously question their motivations.

    Actually this is trivial to circumvent if you self-host: you can run your own PDS (personal data storage) and just say that you’re over 18
