minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish1•4 months agoI don’t think they are saying that the drivers are fat. Or at least it would be insane to say that society shouldn’t care about the safety of fat people. It’s more likely that they said that the cars are fat which they are.
Even US drivers are not quite heavy enough to make a significant difference here. This has to do with car battery weights.
