That electrician has seen some shit.
I’m pretty sure there was an honorary darwin award given to a man who used a live .22 round to put in place as a fuse in his car. The angle was apparently just right to have the bullet hit both balls.
Wouldn’t be possible unless the fusebox had a barrel.
True or not that would still make a hilarious “Fact or Fiction?” segment lol.

Well, the rating says 350A and I seriously doubt you woul’ve had an industrial grade furnace in your old house.
You should see my vibrator.
Wow, that comment with that name certainly paints a picture. Lol fuck.

I’m absorbing this info because it will probably be beneficial in a future adventure game as a puzzle solution.

That’s exactly what my dad said… may he rest in piece…

Yeah, that’s what my dad said as well!
After he died?
Of course not, this was during the fire.
You could say it just doesn’t make cents.
That’s for screw in fuses.
Does 16amp including the cheese or not? Can I still eat the cheese after the “fuse” blown?
Can the cheese be eaten first and use just the wrapping? Asking for a friend.
i’d like to know too. i’m hungry
Considering the ring tab, this image is at least 40 years old.
Not even kidding, I was looking everywhere to find this exact image today… Have you been listening to my conversations?
Lol for real though, thanks for posting! Saved me from feeling too bad about my subpar searching skills.
Lol, glad I could help 😂.
Can’t remember if its was 22 short or long but mythbusters did an episode on dieing to using 22 as a stand in for a glass fuse. Completely plauseable
A .22lr fits in some 3AG fuse holders. They do produce an audible alert when they blow. I’m not sure what the current rating is though.
I’m guessing it’s well above 3 amps.
3AG is just the physical size of the fuse, they usually go up to 20 amps from memory.
Well i figure at least till a Dead short.
Is it 16 amps for the entire wedge of cheese or just the wrapper?
Entire wedge. The cheese is for structural support.
I can’t tell what the 250 amp one is. Just random metal?
Crinkled/rolled metal foil, probably.
