In case anyone’s unclear about how someone gets to the point that they’re blasting their gun into an empty street because an acorn fell on their car, you should learn about How Cops Are Trained to Shoot You in Your Home.

TL;DW: watch it, this is important. But also they are basically traumatised into being jumpy trigger happy motherfuckers by their sociopathic training.

“I’m hit!” Said the clown as he started dark souls rolling to evade the imaginary gunfire.

And people use his PTSD as an excuse. Dumb fuck veteran who is scared of being killed the way he killed others opens fire in a community and is lucky he didn’t murder an innocent person.

Piece of shit veteran dumb fucks. Take your PTSD to the psych ward, murderer.

Military PTSD should disqualify you from being an armed cop. Go get a job that’s not life and death.

What the fuck, you can’t even hear anything. How could there be a shot from the car without a lout sound?

In his partners body cam video you can hear a sound before he starts shooting. Still don’t know how you would mistake that for a gunshot, but there was at least a sound 🤷

Iirc the main dude is a vet with ptsd. If my partner told me he’s hit and started shooting in a direction i would at the very least also take cover and try and figure out the situation. They had a suspect in the car so they both freaked and thought the suspect was shooting at them. Not to excuse them, and fuck whoever allowed a ptsd vet to have a job that uses a gun. He should have had more resources to help him with his ptsd and to find alternative jobs that maybe don’t trigger it like that. Cops are trained to always be on edge over here because they never know who might have a gun, it’s stupid he was allowed in.

What we need is an American flag with a big acorn in the middle to counteract all those thin blue line flags.

Whoo I’m really scared! No, don’t, don’t! There’s a…a peck here with an acorn pointed at me!!!

How did I not already think of the connection? Here’s hoping for a lot more memes featuring Val Kilmer.

I really think we need to investigate Ikea. Do you hear what they do with acorns? Or at least what acorns can become?

You ever try emptying your clip at an entire Ikea?

No… but you probably just aroused a few dozen ammosexuals.

Yeah, from 15 yards away, but I missed, so I went to the hospital and insisted that I was shot.

US policeman parked under a tree, heard an acorn drop onto his car, got scared, proceeded to roll on the ground and start emptying his gun onto the residential street.

Also the part where his partner, who was talking to others across the street, rushed over all like, “what are we shooting at?” and also opened fire on the police car with dude handcuffed in the back, though she didn’t dump her whole mag like the first one did.

That to me is worse. People have said the guy who started shooting at ghosts might have had PTSD from being in the military, but why the fuck did his partner just start shooting at random shit too?? They’re just as bad!

Yeah, when you are looking at a presumably government trained and approved wielder of firearms at all times and in all locations (including protected ones), you don’t expect to see spray and pray. And spray and pray with no identified target at that!

Additional information: he and his partner had arrested a man, who was handcuffed and unarmed in the back of the car. That is whom the policeman thought opened fired at him.

Yeah right! The guys from Super Troopers had excellent aim. Remember that scene in which they were at the pistol range testing out a bullet proof cup with live ammo?

Screw giving guns to teachers; they should have a pocketful of acorns to toss. Next gunman won’t have a chance.
