When ride share first happened I remember there was that brief window where it felt awkward NOT to sit in the front, because it felt like a random person was giving you a ride. Now it feels so weird to have to sit in the front since it’s like a taxi service.

Crap, I still thought it was weird to not sit in the front.

Interesting. In the US there’s a real desire for separation. The driver doesn’t want you up there for their own comfort and safety (if you turn out to be weird there’s more distance between you and them), and a lot of passengers like it too because it takes away the pressure to make small talk if you don’t want to.

I kind of enjoy meeting the drivers, but I think I’m in the minority over here. Is it pretty normal to chat with the driver in Australia, too?

It’s not unusual, but there are also plenty of drivers that are uninterested in conversation

6 nips, a gestation of over a year, and more than twins is rare.

That just raises further questions. How long do wookie babies nurse for? Are the number of nipples a relic of their evolution, where in the past they had litters of wooklets? Are certain nipples more sensitive? Which one or set is the one that typically gets pierced?

Yeah, a whole 45 seconds worth of reading is required to reach the relevant info:

While female Wookiees have six nipples, mutiple births of more than two children are quite rare.

I did lyft pre-covid and I loved it when people would sit up front.

I had a 12" sub and I’d let people sync their Bluetooth or request music and bump through town. I made so many temporary friends!

    Good times…

I was very confused about you sharing your 12’’ sub, until I figured out that you’re not actually talking about a sandwich.

Oh I absolutely would ask for consent. I’m in a college town, so it got easy for me to read people. Some people want silence and I could feel it, and I had a kill switch for the sub just in case.

I’d imagine it’s the trail of teats, but I really doubt they’re tiny. Well-disguised, maybe. Ooh, what CDs do you have?
