I’ve seen a lot of inconsistency in charger shapes for different ebikes I’ve used. I wonder how they decided which charging heads to provide?

Like a station of batteries, you plug in your dead one and take a fresh one.
I guess you would never own the battery, and would have to be subscription based.

I thought about the propane angle. But propane lasts a lot longet than a battery charge, a propane tank doesnt degrade like a battery does, and a battery is more expensive than a propane tank (both construction and recycling).
So, its higher cost of entry, potentially high cost of “recertifying” (ie turning around an empty battery into a full one).
It seemed more likely that both the user and the company to get screwed over by duff batteries and surprise costs

They could do like propane tanks, where you just pay when you swap for a fresh one. You could also still recharge the battery you have. No subscription needed
