    I have yet to hear any good explanations about how they are going to enforce this on a mass scale. It sounds like a law to be selectively applied when targeting parents and youth in other cases. “In addition to disrupting public peace with their protest about keeping sex ed in schools, the defendant let their child use TikTok and Instagram where they were exposed to incredibly dangerous unapproved perspectives from outside Florida!”, at which point the Christofacist jury can wail and clutch at their pearls.

      Social media sites are expected to just assume everyone is a minor unless they upload a picture of their ID proving they are an adult.

        The cynic in me believes this serves two purposes.

        The main purpose is obvious, but if the definition of “social media” extends to having the ability to register accounts and leave comments, Pornhub will fit under that umbrella. It would be awfully convenient to force Pornhub to collect ID that can be associated with IP addresses and viewing habits.
