Yes, and I watched the interview. He’s very much mocking the Democrats in charge of California for being “soft on crime”:

“And so they let them out, they give them food, they give them housing, they give them money, they give them drugs and alcohol now, and I gotta be honest, I’m getting tired,” Bianco said.

In a tongue-in-cheek delivery, Bianco implied he was done fighting against the tide and trying to enforce the laws and thus, “switching teams” and instead endorsing a convicted criminal in Trump.

“I think it’s time that instead of letting them out of jail and and giving them alcohol and drugs and everything else, I think it’s time we put a felon in the White House,” Bianco said.

My absolute bad. The article implies the opposite of what he did.

Right, the entire thing was sarcasm. But his point was “hey we’re letting off these petty criminals in my state, so I’m just gonna say it’s completely fine to put a felon in the White House”

His whole point was to mock the Democratic leadership of his state, trying to equate their criminal justice reform to Trump’s conviction. As if they are even remotely related

I had to go find another article to understand what was going on. Sorry.

The idea that calling trump a felon is somehow sarcasm doesn’t compute. He is. I don’t sarcastically call the sky blue.

Yeah no worries at all man, it was a weird press conference lol. I think once you see how he’s ripping criminal justice reform it becomes a bit clearer

“All these Dems are letting people out of jail for shoplifting! Well, might as well put a felon in the Oval!”

It’s just disingenuous bullshit from the Right, nothing new

In other news (hopefully): Sheriff locked up for being on the wrong side of the law he was meant to enforce.

Come on. Help me manifest this.

Wow, I was looking for nonviolent felons, but this is an incredible option. Put them both in the running and we’d probably have the largest voter turnout ever. With people actually choosing a preferred candidate, not the less shitty one
