Other people’s Chihuahuas are awful little demons. I hated Chihuahuas most of my life. Then my wife adopted one. They’re something special, man. They’re the cutest, funniest, most loving little creatures with their people. They’re just too nervous to be their authentic selves around strangers, and most people don’t do the required socialization that all dogs need with small dogs.

Hell, I have shown people my edged item collection with my dog on my lap before, I just wasn’t as old as I am now lol. I’m particularly proud of a keris from bali that I got as a gift, and I remember showing it off to a small gathering at my home, while everyone was so busy playing with the dog that nobody even remembered the thing the next day. Like, c’mon, it’s over a hundred years old, and has been in the same family until it was given to me.
