Any recommendations for languages/frameworks that are generally transferrable in QA, such as Robot Framework, Selenium, etc.?
Robot is pretty great.
I generally try not to use Selenium, outside of Robot, anymore.
When you say “transferrable in QA” do you mean, languages useful for QA folks that transfer out? I’d argue any/all of them would be for appsec folks.
Yeah, basically “which skills should QA aim to learn in the event they get a new job?”
Never been in the QA world myself, but as someone who has spent a fair bit of time in AppSec, I’ve encountered Selenium the most. 🤷♂️
