Have you ever wondered if your keyboard shortcuts are set up optimally? Well, I did, so I decided to visualize it with a heat-map.
It proved to me that I rely on my left pinky too much, so I’ll try to rework my shortcuts.
You can check out the project here, currently it only works on Linux.
You press Caps Lock more than return. Do you do a lot of shouting in the comments section?
I am genuinely interested in what you use it for. i assume it a programming things I’m not aware of.
I have it remapped to control
My caps lock is remapped to ctrl+c. I’m pretty sure I use it more than the enter key.
My caps is backspace, try it and you’ll never look back (though Ctrl is good too). It’s actually part of the colemak layout that I use.
