WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange says that he was freed because “I pled guilty to journalism.” In his first public remarks since he was released from prison in June, Assange testified Tuesday to the Council of Europe’s Parliamentary Assembly, which includes lawmakers from 46 European countries, on legal affairs and human rights committee.

I guess Donald Trump was doing ‘journalism’ in the ladies changing room of Bergdorf Goodman.
Grab 'em by the headlines. When you’re famous, they let you do it.
I’m sure that’s the narrative he needs to believe.
Oh yeah, this dickhead is still around…
To be clear, I believe in his mission, but not in him nor his methods
The man can’t be some free speech martyr while picking and choosing what docs to publish from which nation. It’s all, nothing, or you’re a state asset, witting or not. To figure out what state that might be, look no further than the leaks he made every excuse not to publish.
He’s a useful idiot
There wouldn’t be a need for his methods if our government wasn’t constantly doing the dirty
I believe most of the bad things he was accused of turned out to be FUD, Kompromat and defamation.
I am not talking about that, I am talking about how he staged the releases of leaks, he did it more to keep WL in the spotlight than to give focus on the leaks themselves.
In that case, good point.
Me neither but i also cant really blame him for trying to survive.
