        I really do feel like if computers had stalled, speedwise, around the late 90s or early 2000s, that we’d be doing much, much better as a planet.

    I’m a camera operator for sporting events. I noticed they had one of these at a rink I shoot at in a small town and chuckled.

    Now that they’ve realized it sucks I wish they’d take it down so it would be nice for it to stop getting in my shots.

    Instead we use a worldwide network of interconnected computers and systems to micromanage everyone’s lives and convince them all that billionaires are good for the economy, infinite money is possible, immigrants are bad, global warming is not real, perpetual war is normal, no one landed on the moon, the earth is flat and nazis are OK.
