This right here is why democratic countries desperately need to reform their formal education systems to shift the focus on epistemics, logic and information literacy. We need to equip citizens with the skills neccessary to navigate an incredibly toxic and propaganda-filled info environment.
You care about the genocide so you voted for a third-party candidate supported by foreign authoritarian states (themselves engaged in genocide) as a way to punish a political faction you accuse of enabling genocide, thus helping an even more aggressive and antti-Arab political faction gain power.
See, it makes no sense. There has to be some rational basis to it. You can’t just say you care about something, then support a result that goes againstnwhat you supposedly care for, and still come out righteous in the end. That’s just not how it works.
(I mean, I’m sure there were some jews who voted for Hitler in 1933, if that makes anyone feel better. We all make mistakes.)
Congratulations, you fell for ALL of the BS.
And now we all get to reap the rewards.

The genocide isn’t bullshit but I can see why you don’t care about it
