Holy shit that’s brazen. And it also sends a strong signal about how weak putins counter espionage is.

I am also surprised. Given the regular assassinations of Russian dissidents outside of Russia by their intelligence one would think that they understand the risks, and how to mitigate them.

If you’re anyone in the Russian military leadership you basically can’t have a routine that is in anyway public lest you fear for your life.

And it’ll only get worse as more dissatisfied vets come home. There’s going to be a lot of patriotic leaning Russians who felt their military and efforts were wasted and they’ll be pointing fingers.

I wonder if they’ll point the finger in the right direction. We have many decades of experience of dissatisfied citizens simply taking their rage out on the current culture war target instead of actual oppressors.

I mean there’s gonna be a lot of finger pointing. And by design, the Russian infosphere is impossible to navigate.

So you’re just going to have hundreds of thousands dissatisfied vets pointing their fingers everywhere.

According to Telegram channels close to the Russian security forces, an explosive equivalent to about 300 grams of TNT hidden in an electric scooter went off as the servicemen were walking to their official car in the early hours of the morning. Authorities have not yet clarified responsibility for the attack, the second in less than a week following the shooting death of the designer of the Kh-59 and Kh-69 cruise missiles, Mikhail Shatsky, in the Russian capital.

Probably not, keeping in mind I’ve never been to Moscow and cannot confirm personally, but I’ve heard Moscow has windows.
