Rules: only places that don’t exist, so no “NY from Spider-Man” also if you can limit to a building or little town, not an entire city or map.

My pick: The Spencer Mansion from 1996 Resident evil. I always loved that place. Of course without the creatures.

Stardew Valley would be calming and escapist. Skellige from The Witcher 3 would be beautiful, but I probably wouldn’t live long there.

That game is pretty chill looking, at least the first areas are, when the graphics aren’t going haywire on my end.

I think the Resident Evil mansion would be worse without the creatures, because you would be constantly expecting them, even though you know they aren’t there.

    My anxiety couldn’t handle it.

  • If I didn’t have a sense of smell, I’d go to the Lands Between. “Breathtakingly beautiful” is pretty apt for it; because it looks amazing, but I’m sure with all the dead and gross shit everywhere, it probably stinks to high heaven.

Those rules make it easy. Fucking anywhere that isn’t Earth. How about the halo 1 ring but no one let the flood out

Something I haven’t seen mentioned: there were a lot of tracks in the original Need For Speed III: Hot Pursuit and its immediate sequels that looked like nice areas.

Well, not my first pick for fictional places to go, but Mystic Ruins. Specifically Tails’, workshop in hopes to meet him. I personally think his AoSTH and SatAM versions are the best, but would absolutely love to meet him regardless.

My ACNH island. I am told I am sorely missed when I go away, which instantly makes it a more desirable location than anywhere else I know of.

    Lara Crofts treasure dungeon.

She’s never home, she keeps all her gold in a big pile (so she won’t notice some is missing) and if the butler tries to stop me I’ll just lock him in the freezer.
