Some states are deliberately fucked up, but this was my best attempt to fix them and the ones I know.
New states just dropped, we got (left to right, top to bottom):
- Less Montana
- South Saskatchewan
- Left Dakota
- Right Dakota
- Minnesconsin
- Upper Wichigan
- Crushed Dakota
- Iowone
- Iotwo
- Illisound
- Kentuckiana
- Nebraska (now with ducktail spoiler)
- Kansas Not-the-Cities
- Tumor-ssouri
- Not OK-lahoma
- North Alabeorgia
- Florida-Alabeorgia Line
The European mind tried.
I did pretty well with North Mexico, but South Canada and West Greenland are a total writeoff.
Looking at a real map… I think I may have misunderstood the assignment.
The “Ohio? Or is this Ohio?” is a great way to start a fight in both states, depending on how dedicated to American football the listener is.
10/10
From Ohio. I don’t do football but laughed hysterically when I saw what they did for ohio.
Same.
I imagine it’s partly because we “don’t do football”
I have a little giggle to myself every time one team beats another and half of my family is pissed and the other half is happy.
Don’t forget esoteric border wars from antiquity!
Not bad. Your South Carolina state is Alabama BTW, the home of Forest Gump!
Solid attempt, lol
North and South Dakota? Nah, here we have East and West Dakota.
Finally a detailed map showing North Georgium and South Georgium separately. I hate that people are getting lazy and treating both of them as singular like they do the word “data”.
Does south Georgia have a gulf of America coastline?
Left Dakota, Right Dakota, Grundle Dakota, Montana, Montanain’t
How the hell did Ohio survive unharmed?
You look at the average Ohian and tell me it’s unharmed.
Georgibama, Kentuckinois, Wiconsota, Illowa.
Easy Peasy.
…oh, the moon shines bright on my old kenf*cky home!..
I like Midwest Texas
Er East Ohio, New Ohio, Ohiowa, Illinohio, Ohiohiohio…
Mishconsin, Winnesota, Illioniowa, Kentuckiana, Kansahoma
West Dakota Best Dakota
My new favorite game is asking people where Ohio is on a map. Everyone has seemingly heard of Ohio but it’s like a myth, some land unmarked on all maps.
I passed by this post, because this isn’t the place for straightforward map quizzes.
I came back to it some time later, and said to myself “You know what? I think I can do well on this quiz” and started taking it.
Kudos, sir. This is a good post.
At least 3.
