I struggle to find much to say about this one, good or bad. It was more watchable than I expected, despite doing nothing to set itself apart from the million other shows exactly like it. It seems like a decent pick if this is your comfort genre. I give the premiere a 3/5.
The only thing I don’t want is for his old party to be completely dependent on him. In these kinds of stories, the old party is useless without the protagonist, and he practically only shows up to deliver the finishing blow. It needs to be more balanced, with the protagonist gradually surpassing his old party. The problem with these stories is that, in just a few chapters, the protagonist becomes overpowered, gathers a bunch of girls for his party who are useless and only there to idolize him. The story needs to distribute her screen time well.
