Archaeologists have discovered a sumptuous private bathhouse - potentially the largest ever found there - complete with hot, warm and cold rooms, exquisite artwork, and a huge plunge pool.

    Pompeii, and in extention Herculaneum, always fascinate me. The eruption made it so much better preserved that it’s really a look in to the past. Amazing.

      I always liked herculaneum more than pompeii, felt like a real impression of the past. Pompeii always felt more meddled with.
