I honestly wouldn’t put it past Trump to say something like that.
He probably doesn’t even know that the flight recorders (black boxes) are orange. I’d imagine he’ll take credit for making them easy to find (the reason for the colour) once he learns that they’re not actually black.
“You see they’re orange … Don’t you like orange? What a wonderful fruit. Sweet and tangy. What’s there not to love? If someone’s dressed in orange and in a crowd, you’ll always see them. Waldo… Why don’t they dress him in orange, right? C’mon. Here I am. And you all see me. Some times I can be sweet. Sometimes tangy. Do you think these boxes are sweet and tangy. My brain is weird. So naturally I thought about hockey. That is what my brain thought when reading your posts.
For LITERAL DECADES I’ve said that the puck should be the exact same materials. No difference to the game. But it should be neon bright orange.
I always have to rely on player context to see the puck.
All that being said, everything I’ve said here is irrelevant. The real topic of concern is the families of those lives lost.
