So true bestie, Biden/Harris’s support for genocide was far more ethical!

        That’s a blatantly false statement.

Harris stated multiple times that she wanted a cease fire and a two state solution. Polar opposite of Trumps “sweep them out and take over.”

        July: https://www.the-independent.com/tv/news/kamala-harris-says-two-state-solution-is-the-only-path-after-meeting-with-netanyahu-b2586161.html

        August: https://www.cnn.com/2024/08/23/politics/gaza-israel-harris-convention-speech/index.html

        September: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/watch-harris-says-two-state-solution-end-of-israel-hamas-war-is-crucial

        October: https://www.aa.com.tr/en/americas/harris-dodges-direct-question-on-palestinian-deaths-calls-for-2-state-solution-during-cnn-town-hall/3372480

Every month from becoming the nominee until the election: cease fire, hostage release, two state solution.

        These are not genocidal statements.

The “two state solution”, which will never happen, is the go-to talking point for anyone who wants to look like they’re working towards peace but who are really just stalling while israel carries out the ethnic cleansing. Look at the borders, they were specifically drawn up to fracture Palestine from the beginning. No two states could exist under such a ridiculous configuration, it’s no mere coincidence. It’s been talked about for decades and yet we are no closer to that goal than we were all those decades ago. So of course Harris, known for saying whatever she thinks will advance her career the most, will parrot that same line.

As for the ceasefire, that was the work of Biden, who was very busy sending billions in weapons:

bypassing congress to do it: https://apnews.com/article/us-israel-gaza-arms-hamas-bypass-congress-1dc77f20aac4a797df6a2338b677da4f

          $1 billion: https://www.cnbc.com/2024/05/15/biden-administration-sending-1-billion-more-in-weapons-to-israel-congressional-aides.html

$20 billion “two days before scheduled cease-fire talks begin in the region.”: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/us-approves-20-billion-weapons-sales-israel-hamas-backs-out-cease-fire-talks/

$8 billion in 2025, just before his pathetic ass was leaving office: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cpvne94v1rdo

The infamous 2,000 pound bomb shipments of which he paused a single shipment: https://www.reuters.com/world/us-has-sent-israel-thousands-2000-pound-bombs-since-oct-7-2024-06-28/

israel somehow managing to use 2,000 pound bombs even though Biden paused a single shipment: https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2024/09/29/israel-bomb-beirut-nasrallah-death/

Here’s him claiming he’d stop sending weapons (note the date): https://www.cnn.com/2024/05/08/politics/joe-biden-interview-cnntv/index.html

Biden set out red lines and didn’t care when israel crossed them: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2024/oct/17/netanyahu-weapons-biden

So yeah, democrats are very good at saying the right things, but will continue to do the wrong things. Even then, sometimes democrats will just go out and say the wrong things as well, here’s Harris saying she would NOT support a weapons embargo on israel: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cg798l439ydo

Tell me, how sincere is a ceasefire deal when they’re continually supplying one side with more than enough weapons to flatten all of the other side? How sincere are they about holding back israel when they set red lines and then don’t change anything when they cross them? There is a reason why the ceasefire finally went through when Trump entered office and it’s because it’s all for show and doesn’t actually matter because israel is only using it as a pause (and PR stunt) before continuing the genocide.

Whether you agree that the two state solution is feasible or not is immaterial.

The fact is that it is 180° the opposite of genocide. It’s an acknowledgement that the Palestinian state and people deserve to exist, in other words, the exact opposite of what Trump is saying.

In other words, you’re engaging in falsehoods when you accuse Biden and Harris of engaging in genocide.

Israel? Absolutely. Netanyahu? Likud? War criminals top to bottom.

But you can’t look at Harris’ statements and say they’re the same as people engaging in genocide because they absolutely are not.

What they say is immaterial when their actions betray their flimsy words. Your argument is akin to claiming DOGE is an earnest effort to cut down on government waste because of the claims that Musk has made. Taking someone at their word is a fool’s errand, especially when it comes to politics. We agree that israel is committing a genocide but for some reason you think someone giving billions of dollars in weapons to them is not aiding this process. I do not understand this line of logic, please help me understand how empty unrealistic promises (made over decades and never sincerely acted upon) and flowery words are enough to make giving billions in weapons to a genocide-committing country not an act of support for genocide.

And again, you’re misrepresenting their actions, same as everyone wanting to blame the US for the genocide.

Netanyahu and Likud are to blame, not Biden and not Harris. They’re the ones choosing to pull the triggers and drop the bombs and they started it before we sent them a dime of aid.

The US is not the sole assignee of blame, israel is clearly the primary one to blame, but the US is the biggest supporter of israel and without the US and other allies, israel would be forced to the bargaining table. How can the US supply billions of dollars in weapons to a country committing genocide and remain blameless?

Somehow I don’t think “I will own it” mean I will be responsible for rebuilding Gaza and be accountable for the wellbeing of its inhabitants.

Keeping Track of the 2nd Trump administration!

One thing Donald Trump and the extreme right were very good at doing is burying the track record of his first presidency from 2017 to 2021.

Keep Track is dedicated to literally keeping track, day by day, of the policy decisions made by the new Trump Administration.

That is not to say we’re interested in the crazy things he says or tweets, he clocked over 30,000 lies the last time he was in office, I don’t see how it’s possible to track all of that. This is about POLICY. Nominees, executive orders, signed laws, and so on.

Subject line format should be {{date}} {{event}} so: “01-20-2025 - Trump is sworn in.”

The international date format of 2025-01-20 is also acceptable!

Links should be to verifiable news sources, not social media or blog sites. So no Xitter/Truth/Youtube/Substack/etc. etc.

Project 2025 tracker here!
