There’s a lot of fun to have in regards of DNA matching and christianity! There are several churches that are claiming to own body relics of Jesus Christ himself, including his blood and his foreskin:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holy_Prepuce

Those are officially accepted by the catholic church. Official position of the catholic church is that Jesus is the son of God. Do a DNA test, check the Y chromosome, get Gods DNA. Have fun analyzing it or cloning God.

Believe it or not, there’s a whole scifi/paranormal/religion movie behind this premise, where

      Tap for spoiler

demons or something get these people to startup a famous person clone grafting service for rich people (so you can like, have a baby with Mozart’s or Einsteins DNA). Their cult members steal Jesus’ shawl to make a clone on a woman they kidnapped, who escapes. But they let her think she’s free and spy on her. When the kids grown up a bit, long story short they free the devil so he can possess the Jesus clone, since only his body could hold the devil’s power. But plot twist! Jesus resurrected when his clone was born, and God knew the plan. The goal was always to have the devil choose whether or not to possess nova Jesus. If he did, he’d get trapped in the body of Christ, unable to possess it but also unable to escape, and become bound to it. So once new Jesus dies, so will the devil.

“Cardia’s lawyer, Solange Marchignoli, suggested that the presence of Cardia’s DNA did not rule out a supernatural phenomena.”

WTF. It absolutely does. Rapist will be claiming their DNA doesn’t rule out that the baby was put their by God.

I think the point is that her DNA being present doesn’t preclude other DNA being present too.

      Which is true.

But we didn’t need dna evidence to know this is stupid.
