Hello everyone, this is my second giveaway.

I have decided to hoard games no more and give away those games which I’m pretty sure I won’t play due to my ever increasing library size. I always wanted to give something back to the Linux Lemmy community, so this is it.

Rules

I won’t do a first come first serve this time. I’ll wait till the weekend is over and do a lucky draw.

Comment or reply to the game you want and mention any fond memory of gaming you have (1-2 lines).

One day old accounts are not allowed

Game List

  • Saints Row: The Third Remastered
  • Mafia II: Definitive Edition
  • Yes, Your Grace
  • Colt Canyon
  • The Talos Principle: Gold Edition
  • The Smurfs 2 - The Prisoner of the Green Stone
  • Dark Sky
  • Grip
  • Wolfenstein: The Old Blood (PC) (I might not give this away as an IRL friend has requested. If they don’t take it, i’ll give it away)
  • Wolfenstein: The Old Blood (Xbox)

Edit:

  • Only one game per user
  • While this rule can’t be enforced, please request for games if you intend to play them. I don’t want them to lie idle in the hoarder’s graveyard (like my games).

Can gamers keep the games they have obtained through prime giveaways after they have ended their prime subscription?

I think yes. But only GOG and Epic. There are some Amazon specific games. They might have some DRM.

Thanks for the giveaways! I wouldn’t say no to any GOG game. :)

Also, didn’t know Smurfs games had a GOG release. But I’m gonna pick from what I haven’t played.

    • Yes, Your Grace

The first gaming console I played was SEGA Saturn, which was my uncle brought from abroad. My love for tech started that day.

I forgot you can give away the code. 🤔

I’ll post some here next time I get a double.

I would like Yes, Your Grace.

I’ve been gaming to excess for basically my whole life. One of the earliest photos that I feel really captured me in my element is an old polaroid of me at maybe 7 years old holding up a can of A&W and my old red Gameboy Pocket with a facial expression that says, “see? This is my deal. Are you happy?”

Edit: a previous commenter asked for Yes Your Grace. I would like Dark Sky instead

    Wolfenstein: Old Blood (PC)

I really enjoyed the New Order game, wonderful world building and really satisfying over the top shooting. I even ended up checking out the math the scientist woman wrote on the walls in her room, turned out to just be random Taylor series, which is still pretty good!

    Talos principle, gold edition.

When I was about 12, I found a shiny trapinch I’m the desert in Emerald. I weakened it as I didn’t have enough pokeballs to keep trying at it if it broke out, and I got a crit and killed it. Spent 4 hours in that desert trying to find a replacement, and I DID. Still have that second trapinch.

    The Talos Principle: Gold Edition

I remember back when I was a kid, playing these random games with my siblings and friends. I still remember some of those games like feeding frenzy, farm frenzy and big city adventure.

Not sure if we can comment multiple games ^^’

    • Mafia II: Definitive Edition
    • The Smurfs 2 - The Prisoner of the Green Stone

As a young boy, I remember giggling nervously while I navigate the colorful chaos of Rayman 3, dodging the goofy Hoodlums that were both funny and a bit scary (especially the Knaarens) . Those gaming sessions are memories I cherish very much, one of the best game I ever played!
