Servus Bayern-Fans, nachdem zuletzt viel über meine Person spekuliert wurde, möchte ich mit diesem Brief an euch die Gelegenheit nutzen, für Klarheit zu sorgen. Auch nach all den Jahren habe ich, ungeachtet meiner Spielminuten, immer noch sehr viel Spaß, mit den Jungs zusammen auf dem Platz zu stehen und gemeinsam für unsere Farben um Titel zu kämpfen. Diese Rolle hätte ich mir auch im nächsten Jahr gut vorstellen können.

Thomas Müller is one of the increasingly rare breed of old school players that look out of place on a modern football pitch but who has won essentially everything, including a world cup and the Champions League. I would really wish for him to remain a one club man, since I really can’t see him playing a season or two in the shirt of, say, Stuttgart or Gladbach.

The guy has been terrorising Barcelona for years. I’m glad that era is over, but also sad to see such an iconic figure leave.
