No problem. I was telling someone about this last night. I have been a fan of AT for years but it took this video for me to really appreciate what was going on technically. I proudly share links to this creator’s page too. Benn Jordan seems to have a lot of integrity.
Benn does some awesome work, and yeah, solid dude and his is the only patreon sub I have. All the patreon cash goes to charity, to the best of my knowledge. As an aspiring music producer, it’s great to have access to his discord and I get a ton of questions answered there. (He is good friends with Venus Theory, who also hangs out on that discord on occasion.) For some reason, I now have gigs of high quality cicada recordings…
Enough of a plug for that stuff though. He has some good videos out about synthesizer theory, which is how I found him from the start. He also cuts through a ton of bullshit on effects plugins on occasion that has probably saved me hundreds.
There is some clear promotional work he does for companies like UVI, but he has got a make a buck somehow. (UVI tools are mostly out of the beginner price ranges though, so I wouldn’t consider it “predatory” promotion work. Falcon does kick ass though.)
