It was three weeks after Christmas when the bombshell letter arrived. Guy Shahar and his wife, Oksana, looked at each other in stunned disbelief.

They had followed the Guardian’s investigation into the carer’s allowance scandal that has left thousands of families with crippling debts and criminal records. Not once did they think they would join them.

“Important,” it read in big bold type. “You have been paid more carer’s allowance than you are entitled to. You now need to pay this money back”.

In some weeks, she was paid just 38p more than the threshold – but for that tiny infraction she is being forced to repay £64.60 each time, the rate of carer’s allowance at the time.

No signs if you cover your eyes and ignore El Salvadore. Because you literally need big red signs with “Death Camp” written in red, to understand that something is a death camp. It would be impossible to actually prove anything to you.

Illegal immigrants who were determined to be MS13 gang members were deported and you’re claiming death camps lol

I can’t believe you guys actually believe this stuff you’re writing. It’s got to just be reading the party approved talking points manual and parroting their arguments.

The other party is basically gone. As for MS13 gang member, you expect me to believe the current administration to be honest about that? The guy was explicitly proven innocent, and then they say now they can’t get him back.

El Salvador has a lot more people going in than coming out. That is impossible, unless a lot of them are well…not alive.
