    I really appreciate that Thomas Müller reminds me of the type of player we really no longer see these days. He’s a one club man and moves more like a bloke you’d play Sunday League with, yet he’s won everything and had a career that very few can match.

    In German his former coach used to call him the “Raumdeuter” or interpreter of space - a moniker that fits his style very well.

      Just one correction. It was müller who came up with raumdeuter term to describe himself. Journalists kept asking him what position he plays so he came up with the term

        Thanks, I learned something new today. I could have sworn it was Löw who came up with that, but it’s really a self applied description. It still fits his playstyle very well.
