I have a spinal issue I was born with that caused a lot of issues with the rest of my body, along with several injuries (altercations with people, car accidents). I do physical therapy and exercise but I still need a nice bed to help support my body so I am not in agony the next day.
My mattress cost about $1500. You can find mattresses more expensive than that, but the difference in price wasn’t worth it to me. I’ve slept on cheaper mattresses. The best of them were still pretty good, but my current mattress lets me wake up without nearly as much pain.
Tbh, this is totally reasonable. I’m confident that a 1500 dollar mattress would be better than my 400 dollar mattress. And its not even a crazy price for a nice piece of “furniture”. But there are mattresses that cost 5, 8, even 10k+ out there. Its wild
And here you are with legit injuries, content with a 1500 dollar one. Pretty sure anything past like 1 or 2k is a scam lol
