As a Focus owner, this hurts. However, I know it guzzles batteries in Winter, and the frame is rusted so bad no garage wants to touch it, but, man, it has comfy seats, and one damn fine sounding sound system.

This explains so much. Mine did the same and when it became too expensive to fix, I had to move on. The rust ate it alive and I had to replace the battery every year until I bought a more expensive battery and that one lasted 2-3ish. A lot of the plastic trim and bits around the license plate to hold the light became brittle and broke. It did not like winter temperatures at all.

I actually bought a brightly colored vehicle specifically because I can never remember where I parked

Realistically, it’s more like my Focus breaks down.
