“I only got so many fucks to give. I’ll pass on this one.”
This is a healthy mentality… So long as it’s not something essential…

Stop delaying that thing you need to do. You can’t pass on it.
Or you got the ADHD & Autism combo. Routines are more of a suggestion, but you don’t have the motivation to keep them. Like, yeah, I should put away my clothes, but that seems like extra work. I’ll just leave them in the pile. (There are multiple piles)
I give 1% to my union. My pay is ~10% better than it would be if we didn’t have it, and management gets in huge trouble if they mistreat workers. And by trouble, I mean they fired a manager when they scheduled a worker over their lunch break.
It’s probably more cost effective to run Azure Services on Linux machines than Windows machines.
Headline 3 years from now: “Huffing Steam Deck vent fumes linked to increased risk of cancer” (Only when done habitually)
Ads: “Have you or a loved one huffed Steam Deck fumes? You may be entitled to compensation.”
Valve: Goddamnit. You fucking addicts couldn’t stop huffing the vents. WE FUCKING TOLD YOU! It’s safe for normal usage. NORMAL usage. Not heroine addict levels of usage!
I was wondering how Signal handles this. Thanks for the info.
I shifted my phone to the side and saw this exact foot placement. Yes.
Don’t know if it’s an ASD thing, though… I do have more uncommon posturing than most people. Need a bigger sample size and a control group.

Interest changing often is often associated with ADHD, which is more common in people with ASD. Maybe something to look in to.
I have inattentive ADHD and undiagnosed ASD, and my interests rotate a lot, but they all typically involve building of some sort. Unusually in video games, like Minecraft, Satisfactory, Kerbal Space Program, but also physical things like legos, 3D printing, and woodworking. Model building is also a popular hobby, but never caught my interest. I tried writing, but I’m too perfectionist and get to a point where I rewrite old material more than finishing the story.
At some points, I wanted to be able to share my creations, but I’ve rarely get any praise beyond the initial, one-time “That’s cool!” reaction and my work never gets mentioned again. Kinda depressing, but I decided I want to build stuff for me because I like it and it makes me happy.
As a GM, I get unintelligent NPCs that can basically only strike.
Then, once in a while, I’ll get an NPC with spells and get overwhelmed with actions.
Friend got locked out of Instagram account because yahoo deactivated their email. Instagram flagged the email as inactive. After my friend forgot their password, Instagram wouldn’t send pw reset emails even after reactivating the account. They also has no direct customer support whatsoever, so that account was lost.
Having both, idk, it’s like I have to expect chaos to be okay with it. Like, I take my ADHD spouse on a date and I expect they’ll want to spontaneously go places, and I’ll be okay with that. If I’m driving home on a routine grocery run and they suddenly call and want takeout… I have to calm myself.
Canned psychologist answer to any absolute statement about ADHD or ASD: “it depends” and “sometimes but not always”.
*looks around* Go to Etsy. Tell 'em your looking for “fidget rings”. They’ll hook you up. Tell 'em potoo22 sent ya. Idk about markets outside the US.
To add on to this, in front of other people, I play with my finger ring that has moving parts. It’s a lot more descreet than playing with other objects.
Me realizing that eating hot dogs everyday was making my stomach hurt: 😭
The wavelength of Magenta doesn’t actually exist. It’s our red and blue photoreceptors activating without the green ones. It blows my mind how many non-existent colors mantis shrimp can see.
