How do you find communities you would like to follow? How do you actually follow them? Do I need to sign in to a bunch of individual instances to access their communities?

i’m able to do it in the browser by tapping the top-right elipse menu and selecting communities, then browsing/searching and subscribing. But the iOS app i am using doesn’t seem to have a way to do it.
Yeah the app I’m using doesn’t seem to have that either. I guess I’ll hop on a browser at some point to find stuff 😬 thanks for the info!
I use https://lemmyverse.net/communities to find communities and then copy the address and use search on my own instance, copy the address into the search bar and then I can subscribe.
