I dont want to relativize violence too much, but with these kinds of incidents in a political context, its always best to think about it in a “statistics” sort of way. Just in the short time of these unrests there have probably been 10 incidents like this with Spanish born perpetrators that got zero press coverage. People give individual events like this waaay too much sway over their thinking. Its bad that it happened, but its also not out of the ordinary whatsoever.
