    I’d argue that it’s not just that. They wrote a literal library of books. Every single npc has 1-2 small side quests and has a small sentence reacting to changing world. Music was top notch. Lore was decent. Developer easter egg jokes.

    And above all this, the engine was simple enough that potatoes could run it. Before getting performance mods for ultra low spec potatoes.
