as far as i know the plot is still being kept pretty quiet other than it being set in Raccoon City? curious to see what Cregger does with it anyway.

I’d love to give Mr. Cregger the benefit of the doubt, but to be honest, after five or six Anderson movies, one reboot and a TV show whose main contribution to the world has been the canonisation of Zootopia porn in the RE universe, it’s hard to be excited. I’ll probably watch it somewhere down the line, like I did for all the movies before it, but I doubt it will be good or even passable.
extremely valid, he seems like a competent filmmaker but nothing has really blown my socks off yet, i would love to not just be eternally rewatching the animated movies (but i will if i have to)
uhhh, I dunno. These directors more often than not create movies completely disconnected from the game source material that is hard to get my mental clitoris wet with articles like these. its whatever, hoping is not another madam web
yeah, i tend to err on the side of optimism not matter how often i get burned but i do think it’s good to be cautious about these things. i don’t mind things being not direct adaptations tbh, but as curious as i might be, i haven’t been as big on Cregger’s other films as a lot of other people have so i am also mentally preparing for another live action Resi that i don’t like 😅
