If it doesn’t support iOS apps, it’ll be dead on arrival. If it doesn’t support .exe it’ll be dead on arrival. If it doesn’t support APKs it’ll be dead on arrival. “You could trivially build such a system by getting an FTP account”. Shared storage doesn’t replace USB sticks, it’s dead on arrival.

A phone that doesn’t run iOS apps is dead on arrival.
Running APsK is possible even if you’re not Google. Running iOS apps is not.
That is clear.
