Fuck ticks man. I can get behind insects being important for cadaver clean up and all that but those creepy crawlies just exist to fuck other living beings up.

But ticks aren’t insects, they’re arachnids, 8 legs, not 6.

Still not good either way, I’ve been bitten myself 4 times in life by ticks, 3 of those on the same day. Thankfully I never experienced paralysis or any other serious long term effects, but oh boy I was sick as hell for the next week or so after the 3 ticks 1 day episode…

I found like 4 on me just last year. I try and check but they are so tiny it’s hard to know what is a small scab from a thorn and what is a tick. Sometimes only find them a day or 2 later.

Ticks: They’re tiny. They’re thirsty. They’re drooling vectors of various illnesses and they want nothing more than to cuddle up to your darkest crevices. In the episode, learn how to remove a tick, if you should spray your yard and with what, how landscaping affects tick exposure, why Lyme Disease is spreading, the Lone Star Tick rolling into town, how to protect your pets and why the CC ruined poppyseed muffins.
