    How many people died due to famine under the KMT? Under the Qing Dynasty? Famines in China prior to the CPC used to occur every few years, maybe every decade of the weather was good. Following 1961, China has never had a famine. China’s average lifespan has skyrocketed. China has went from being a poor country on the order of Niger to a solidly developing one.

    Neither China received any sort of war reparations from Japan.

    Either way, this is deflection because it avoids the entire issue of Chinese territorial claims in Asia being almost entirely ignored uin the Treaty of San Francisco. There’s a reason the PRC and ROC are aligned in their territorial claims, and it’s not entirely yet because of civil war shenanigans. Both the PRC and ROC believe that they were scorned by Western negotiators when deciding territory post-WW2.
