So, this has an ice maker, and it recycles the melted ice back into the drinking water. That makes it taste like melted ice which is less than ideal, but I’ve decided that the next time I put a jug on there I’m leaving the ice maker off. Other than that it has a pretty good taste. I paid extra to get one that is supposedly made from actual “food grade components” hopefully that actually means something.
But yeah before the melted ice is injected back in the water has a great taste.
Is it just me or does the water of these always taste disgusting? Tap water is so much better where I live.
They probably need to be cleaned. Most people don’t think about it, but these things are mildew magnets.
Most of them have an overly rusty, slightly bitter taste I really dislike. Same goes for many mineral waters.

I’m the opposite.
Water quality from a good water cooler… Crisp! Then it’s sink water post filter. A few other brands. Like Fiji.
Then all the way at the bottom, Dasani.
I like using declutter over saying “clean up”. Declutter has a positive message somehow where I dread to clean up.
