I don’t really understand how new books or new authors get their works to wider audiences nowadays. How exactly do you find new books, or if you write how do you get them out to people with how much content is put out every day?

I like to use Barnes and Noble to discover good books. I would never buy anything from them but their recommendations are usually spot on.
Same. Any bookstore is good do for this. Sometimes I’ll go to my local shop and get a book, it then take pics of the recommendations that week. Then later I’ll look em up online
I’d assume social media promotion is a big one. I also found some authors through kindle unlimited years back that I now follow.
