Visual Studio Code is the preferred IDE as far as what users want but Neovim has a higher proportion of users that want to continue using it next year (81% vs 77%).

      Why would you use it like that though? Neovim itself is enough for almost all use cases.

        Yes, I just feel more productive being able to navigate with the mouse, quickly scan and jump between files. Having a full vi session for editing would be awesome. The plugin is pokey though, so I stopped using it, ymmv.

      It’s kinda janky, many neovim plugins don’t work inside vscode

      For me VSCode feels really slow against Neovim.
