When LateX doesn’t translate to HTML
I am curious why H2S is formatted through.
I’m glad for this comment - I was kinda confused! :-D
As a latex and formatting snob, I will only say element abbreviations should not be italicized. H$_2$SO$_4$ is how I usually do formulas.

Looks like LateX is not supported but Markdown is. Single underscore leads to italic text.
_some text_will render as some text. Two underscores will render the text bold in markdown.__example__: exampleNot sure that explains the working example in the picture. If it was markdown it would have had to changed font, italized, and added a subscript.
